@lyncia hey, i dig it!
one of the main reasons a physical journal has been tempting to me is because you can just like.....draw in them!
@lyncia nice!!
journalling rules actually
@iitalics hee. i feel like this is a pretty universal experience~
i mean, it sure has Some Defaults
@monorail it's an aesthetic masterpiece
it's honestly kinda mind-boggling that it even exists
@lyncia this is mine btw~ https://awoo.space/@thingywott/107918886483166659
it's just a pi 400, but it's honestly such a cool lo-fi aesthetic
@lyncia hell yeah! goofy things are the best
i mostly journal in mine since text editing is a pretty low bar while i learn how to actually do more complex things with it--but i just wanna do weird and neat things with it eventually too
@lyncia ooh! any plans for it..?
i have a plan 9 box which is basically just a really fun journal i write in often
@karma thank youuu..! this rules~
@karma oh dang! that's a thing?
i adore cave story
re: venting about someone being shitty about weed
@vantablack oh yikes
and that was on the tildeverse?? that's pretty much the last place i expected people to be shitty about that
and if not, i feel like a good chunk of ~town probably would be with you at least
in the meantime, i hope you feel better soon..!
@codl imagine being a contributor to it
just testing your bugfixes must be like being thrown into a time vortex over and over
@iitalics *laughs in reversing-tar's-argument-order-and-replacing-the-first-alphabetical-file-in-your-folder-with-garbage*
@SuricrasiaOnline @noiob that's true! though i guess what i mean is that if i was on the receiving end of a soft block, i would feel like i shouldn't follow the person who did it after that point out of respect of their wishes
@SuricrasiaOnline i feel like this sends a pretty "go away" message to some people rather than a "follow me again if you want" one
to me, soft blocks seem like asserting a boundary that you are trusting others to not cross again
@SuricrasiaOnline oh! to me at least, mentions seem...a lot less threatening here
maybe that makes it easier to reply too? since it doesn't seem like sending one is going to be a colossal annoyance to who you're replying to
@packetcat ah, that's not too bad then!
(also sorry if that came off weird, i just have Experiences with aws that i want as few people as possible to also have--so i wanted to warn you just in case)
@codl @cpsdqs oh yeah! some even use it to write their neovim configs in other languages that compile to lua!
so sometimes you see fennel configs
it's pretty rad, honestly! cause vimscript is one of the main things that really scared a lot of people away from playing around with vim outside of its defaults
@codl awoo!!
oh hi! i do computers, and sometimes draw stuff~ i like lo-fi things and cute aesthetics!
i also probably like you
(also, tagged #abdl ahead, soooo 🔞)
