@AdalwinAmillion i created awoo.space because it was clear that there was a need for a more limited space that took a much more intentional approach to federation

i also hoped to stymy some problems with racism and other bad isms with the space, while also creating a space that respected identity yet fostered a place to grow for folks who engage genuinely & in good faith, and somehow it turned into the furry server :thumbsup_clw_g1:​

i was a part of the mastodon wave that came when donald trump was elected and twitter forced my account to unblock and *follow* him

i only ever log on there to check in on friends or see cute pics now, very rarely

i'm glad to be here, i did not expect to be a part of such a tightknit community

hmm i keep getting errors on loading from the api

anyone have any tips for investigating? all i see on the js console is "failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED"
