@Efi you're in that unique place where people with privilege treat you without that privilege, and people without privilege treat you like you have that privilege
so you kind of end up in that weird middle area of less privilege, socially
i don't know what you'd call that but you definitely deserve support any way you go
@Efi mediterranean ranges from greek to lebanese and other such places
i guess it kind of depends on where your parents are from?
most of the time folks define white as being euro-centric with regards to being from the UK, germany, scandanavian countries, etc
this is something light-skinned black folks have to deal with too. i have a close friend with a black and a white parent and she gets the same kind of treatment

i like to use it as a group signifier for our full acronym that is always missing some letters
if someone does not want to be labeled queer, i will try my best not to describe them as queer when I talk specifically 👍
