i talked to my friends, especially the one who got involved. everyone refused to talk to him to get him to apologize. nobody said a word when it happened in the study.

here's what i mean by my religious trauma:
I got involved with a bible study/church in college early on
they became my primary group of friends i spent all my time with
one session, the leader suddenly turned on me and drilled into my favorite passages from the bible and berated every little aspect of it. he made it clear to me that he was *the leader* and was right
also, some folks don't like the use of the CW system for jokes
I think it's okay, personally, as long as it's obvious that it's a buildup to a joke
new folks:
please remember to make heavy use of CWs
they are there because they are useful to reduce harm for folks
instead of being forced to read a post in order to determine if they want to interact with its contents or not (which is not a choice), you can know what the post is about and choose whether it's worth engaging that or not
