@KinkyTurtle "GO HAVE SOME COFFEE WITH CREAM, OR SOMETHING! BECAUSE I'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING: THIS IS A HAPPY PLACE!!"
i'm about to do something very cruel to some very good people (cw: dangerously pretty fox)

You can see her. But you'll never get to pet her.
@Leucrotta "Ach. It appears ze Really Rottens haf won again. Zer is no justice in this cosmos. It is round and empty, like the head of Squiddly Diddley."
@Leucrotta Francis Ford Coppola's Werner Herzog
(spoiler: it's a genre sword and sorcery flick and starts Nic Cage for some reason)
@Soreth That send me on one hell of a Wiki crawl, thank you. <3
(Short version: I'm assuming you were making an FLCL reference, but apparently Atomsk is a reference to a novel that has been described as the very first Cold War spy novel-- and happens to be by Cordwainer Smith, one of my favorite authors and one of my major proto-furry influences, writing under a different pseudonym. I never knew that. It apparently draws on his RL knowledge of psyops. Sadly, it also retails used for ~$150. :O )
@anthracite it was a good run *shrugs and recommends seasonings*
"Meh!"
re: catting it up (kinstuff)
@troodon @anthracite Listen, can we just keep my "leavings" out of public conversation and in Peg's favorite boots where they belong?! 😾
re: Mild Health Snark (~)
@Phorm actually i started thinking that way circa age 12 but then i always was a precocious kid n.n;
catting it up (kinstuff)
Today's activity:
* bit @anthracite (friendly-like)
* stalked, menaced, and killed some data errors
* stole anthracite's property (bong)
* ingested vast quantity of catnip
* hid in a box and took an extended nap
* trapped and tormented more data errors
* annoyed anthracite
* took another nap in a different box
* looked disdainfully upon some Reddit humans
* bathed self
* ate bowl of tinned mackerel
I definitely joined the right team. I'm proud to be a part of it. 🐯

Was a bit proud of this exchange. It addresses important things the Armchair Rationalist crowd misses about brain management IMO.
Context: we were talking about Figure 1, the "immunity dog" meme. Orange had called the meme "lawful evil," and someone responded with "If it saves some from subconsciously worrying... doesn't the end justify the means?" Orange didn't like that idea, and I (Blue) tried to explain to 'em why a "magic feather" needn't be "real" to be a positive thing.
re: unhappy
@kaputotter Forget it, Jake. It's Inktown. *hug*
(Maybe I should start tooting some of Peg's recent Inktober snark. You may find it a bit vindicating. :) )
re: mopery and analysis therof (~)
@anthracite We should definitely sit down sometime soon and schedule a tour of NOLA for this winter. It'll at least give you an escape to look forward to! <3
