Someone made a very good post about intentional communities and how-- unlike with office-culture capitalism-- seemingly ordinary skills can be precious and valuable to such a community. <3

And that reminded me: folks, I LOVE doing research for people. If anyone didn't know, my day job is web research for a GPS company. So I'm fairly good at navigating web resources and digging up obscure sites.

If there's ever anything you just don't know where to find, or just don't have the executive function to think about on a given day, I am generally delighted to help you dig. This especially goes for interesting cultural deep-dives, but I'm equally happy to help with mundane stuff like digging up tax forms and navigating badly designed store locators.

In related news, we're pretty sure one of the cats has been leaving us little yellow flower buds on the back steps as a daily present/trophy. <3 There aren't any such flowers within natural wind-blowing distance of the door, and they keep ending up in more or less the same place.
