@DrSagan Yeah, I did a quick dive and it looks like... they can pinch a little. *shrug* If they do, it _might_ break the skin, in which case you dress it like any other tiny wound. Sounds like even that doesn't happen often, though. Zero cases of ER services related to earwigs according to Orkin and Wikipedia. No known disease transmission either, though they might attract James Joyce fans. (If this happens, I recommend burning your entire building down. *shudder*)

um i'm only gonna say this once and it is not up for any discussion whatsoever but if you have had any worries at all about peg and me being in a "red state" kindly stop immediately because it only shows you don't have any comprehension of what new orleans is actually like nor how many people they'd have to get through -- like our own neighbors -- to get to us

we're fine thanks -- tbh i have a sneaking suspicion that in the event of a 2nd Civil War we'd end up some kind of crazy Free State. every damn person in this city has been itching to tell baton rouge to go fuck themselves and keep our tourist dollars for ourselves anyhow -- we'll just be doing it as the Free Pirate Port we were always destined to be ;D

I almost miss 15-minute "one quickie before i run for the work bus" naps. Especially the ones I'd have at 4:45 at the office where my boss couldn't see me. :D
