@KawaSeadrake @Roady_Dragonfae I know at least two cases for whom deliberately adopting a more esoteric fursona helped make those who did so more open to expressing further changes. They were already furry when they got here, but they've become more "post" over time.

@literorrery @KawaSeadrake @Roady_Dragonfae i mean, postfurry reminded me what i was missing from my life as i slowly distanced myself to having a typical-looking fursona i didn’t connect with.
And now I’m a very queer otter
@literorrery @KawaSeadrake @Roady_Dragonfae Thirded, if you weren't already counting me. ;)
@indi @KawaSeadrake @Roady_Dragonfae You weren't in my tally, no! Makes perfect sense, though.
@indi @literorrery @KawaSeadrake @Roady_Dragonfae I still maintain part of my humanity? Mostly the aesthetics of being a knightly girl, really beyond that I'm pretty open.
I've been a transhumanist for a long time now, though, postfurry just clicked for me there. I like to hold onto some aesthetics, but I by no means think others should be beholden to that, and I'm a bit of a xenophile as well -- I *like* seeing what others truly are when they express themselves.

@literorrery @KawaSeadrake I could honestly say the same for myself. I was always left feeling unfulfilled with the core fandom when I realized I tend to delve deeper into what my true form means to me. I felt a lot of shallowness in said crowd that I tried to ignore and drown out via drinking myself into oblivion.
