Frens I have a question!

In the UK and Australia, the power coming into your home is referred to as the "mains."

Is there such a term in use here in the US? The best I can find is the "main power drop" but that turns up so many unrelated results.

@mawr I actually don't know either, and I'm an electrical engineer! I've started using mains after Big Clive, though. :)

@mawr Mains is the word I've always used for it, but since several of my closest friends are British it's possible I just picked it up from them.
