Today I had a coworker come up to me apropos of nothing to apologize for using the b word to describe his daughter in a convo we had last week. I hadn't called him out on it, but I've been quietly insistent at work about describing why I don't use that word.

My cat struggled for half an hour to kick this medical cone off but it wouldn't move so he collapsed like this and stared off into space, contemplating his new life. I made it into a cookie.

An early favorite shot, when there was some fortuitously timed snow. (I'd be cursing it a month later, but that's another story) They'd largely stayed inside for a couple days, understandably unimpressed with the turn of the weather, but soon were back to normal. =:)
