@Lugia pokemon crystal was one of the first video games we ever played, and the first one we could call our own (technically it was borrowed from a cousin but everyone involved forgot about that detail until years later), so it has a special place for us! it's why i've been a quilava or typhlosion on a number of occasions, too; cyndaquil was our starter.

on the other hand, i love when i click on a video that looks like an interesting run through a kaizo mario hack and find the person playing it reacting very positively (and some genuine curiosity and question-answering in the chat) to a pride-month-themed level

@Kilroy That seems like a good mixture, though I'm a bit surprised at just how little cumin you put in there compared to the chili powder! But I guess we just really like cumin.

I'd say putting in some peppers anyway is probably a good call, though--fresh peppers have some flavor you just can't get from chili powder.

@Lugia Did you beat her first in gen 2 or gen 4? Because I'm pretty sure they rebalanced things to be more fair in the remake.
