how huge of a disappointment would it be if someone proved the Riemann hypothesis false?

@tabitha@chitter.xyz @Austin_Dern This reminds me of Wild Arms 3, one of our favorite video games but also one that overstays its welcome a bit

If anyone ever was interested in getting into the Ys or Trails series, both of them appear to be on sale this weekend! I highly recommend picking up Ys I and II Chronicles (currently $4.50 each) and Trails in the Sky (currently $10) and Trails in the Sky SC ($20)

(both series follow Falcom's tradition of "the first game leads very immediately directly into the second", so you'll probably want both if you get one)

@starkatt What makes it special? Does it have special optical properties?
-F

@socks (i also feel like how to make mustard didn't really need to be a video when it's literally just mix powdered mustard seed and vinegar and maybe some turmeric for color. but maybe they needed some filler, or maybe they're making a fancier mustard)
-F

@socks it just feels particularly weird that it's calling it "copycat condiments" when "copycat recipe" is a word associated with "here's how to make this signature dish from this popular restaurant", and then they just do regular old condiments
-F

@Caudle Too many? But what if you need to *type* things?

re: body control/possession kink, realizing where i got it from

@sharkNserg we should maybe read that series sometime, we heard it's good but the cover art always seemed off-putting to us as a kid

we don't even *like* mayonnaise, why *do* we know how to make it?

youtube recommended us a video titled "14 copycat condiment recipes | homemade ..." and we were thinking there would be stuff like restaurants' signature sauces or something under the cut but hovering to see the full title revealed... "ketchup, mustard, mayo and more!"

why would you choose the three most boring condiments, two of which we could literally list all the ingredients and methods of preparation from memory alone???
-F

@trysdyn Stuff in the first category is absolutely by far the most trustworthy stuff, assuming it runs on modern computers at least
-F

@Trinket *pronounces Bunnier as if it rhymes with Fourier*

re: uspol, question

@fox_news @starkatt Well, there *are* a lot of witches this corner of the internet, but I don't think that's quite the right sort of magic.
-F

@lorxus Wait, the Haber process for carbon fixation? Isn't the Haber process for making ammonia?

re: uspol, question

also can we just like

throw out the whole government and start over

Hello new Mastodon users! I hope you're having a good morning.

This is just a PSA: Please, please read someone's profile before you click the Follow button!

Many people on Mastodon prefer only to be followed by people they know. For example, a lot of people do this because their followers-only posts can get very personal, and they want to vet who can read them. If you haven't gotten to know them, they'll reject your follow request out of hand; it's a matter of personal comfort.
