Well. Rather more stressful than usual therapist appointment this week. But I feel like I got some stuff done and maybe I'll be more prepared for things the next time I feel a panic attack starting.

I'm kind of curious about the origins of some of the other ones too. The game boy color is CGB, which makes sense (Color Game Boy), the game boy advance is AGB, which makes sense (Advanced Game Boy), the GBA SP is AGS, clearly a derivative of AGB, the wii is RVL from its development codename Revolution, but why is the DS NTR? Why is the DS lite USG? Why is the 3DS CTR? Why is the New 3DS KTR? What's the P in the Wii U's WUP?

Why is the gamecube's model code GCN instead of NGC? Does the N not stand for nintendo?

This was already a vgm selection a while ago but holy crap this is a good track. I really think the Baten Kaitos soundtrack was Sakuraba's magnum opus.

But first, random thought of the night: Clean rooms are so _weird_. I mean, just look into the window on one and think, inside that room there is absolutely no dust. It's kind of surreal to think about... the weird lighting doesn't help, either

I miss when games could include extra hardware on the game media. extra processors on the cartridges and stuff.

Super Mario 64 could really do with a better selection of music. Rainbow Ride, Tick Tock Clock, Snowman's Land, and probably other courses I've forgotten all use the same music that doesn't really fit any of them

Apparently my ISP has remote TDR capability in their routers. That's pretty impressive, to the point that I'm not sure I believe it, but they did correctly diagnose a damaged cable with it, so....
