I have this impression that in pop culture, enbies are exclusively represented as afab with shaved head and clothes associated to guys. While this representation is nice on itself, it's far from being a faithful representation of diversity found among enbies. Could we introduce some diversity in the way of representing enby folks please ?
It still strikes us as odd, or at least unexpected (though not at all a bad thing!), when someone we know _isn't_ some type of otherkin/therian/whatever-you-want-to-call-it.
When we found furry in general probably nigh on a decade ago, we thought the whole _point_ of it was kin-related. It was a bit of a surprise to later learn about otherkin, because then what was furry?
Of course we know now. It's just kind of alien thinking of being human.
What's the algorithm for determining whether or not mastodon shows you a post from someone you follow that's in reply to someone you don't follow? I've seen it sometimes show it and sometimes not, and I think it has to do with the proportion of people you do follow in the thread.
Does that extend to other posts that mention people? If I were to mention someone in a post without it being a reply to them, would it still show up in everyone else's home column?
sometimes, translators need to alter names in video games because the japanese names are close to inappropriate words in english. I find it amusing in an immature sort of way to think that Final Fantasy V's protagonist was almost named Butz (translations changed it to Bartz), and the antagonist of Ys I was Dark Fukt (Dark Fact in translations).
