...okay I love attention to detail like this. Metroid: Samus Returns has a two-frame animation when you aim upward, first pointing the gun at a 45° angle and then straight up. It reminds me of the sprites from the SNES and GBA metroid games (though I think aiming was a one-frame animation in those)

The third game has a game mechanic called ASK to let you inquire about special words--Activate Selected Keyword
