There's something funny about being a closeted trans kid sitting under a large poster of an e e cummings quote that literally reads "it takes courage to grow up and become who you really are." I do this every day in first period, and it mostly feels like the poster's taunting me...

Was beginning to feel emotions, good and bad, again, when mom walks in and blindly physically messes up my safe space??? Commenting on how she could wear a shirt I wanted to but couldn't because her arms are smaller...! Asks if I want to hang a shirt up, I say no, she does so anyways, wondering why she asked. And of course, calling me my dead name the whole time as usual. I'm shaking, and I feel stupid cause all she did was vacuum... I need to get the heck out of here :(
