Trans people deserve to have their identities accurately represented on government documents.
They deserve equal access to education, housing, jobs, and healthcare.
They deserve to use public bathrooms safely, and without harassment.

@mearcstapa it's tiring for this dude to imply that diverse indigenous societies had substantially similar relationships to "the environment" as euro colonizers who explicitly crossed oceans to engage in genocidal, extractive imperialism and capitalism

you mentioned specific people groups, and he collapsed your nuance to "the natives" which is the point in this exchange that's actually racist. he doesn't know about the people groups you mentioned and he doesn't care. diverse indigenous people groups are all "the natives" to him and he's unduly invested in the narrative that different ways of life are all destined to be just as bad for the environment as that of colonizing europeans *except* the way of life he's promulgating. i'm not confident he's capable of good faith discussions or respecting boundaries and i want to block him. anyway let me know if you want me to block him

We're still trying to collect money for hospital bills, to be sure that if we're suddenly told that fin-aid won't cover something, we're not caught empty-handed. Anything that does not go to the hospital will still go to medical needs: doctor's appointments, supplies, prescriptions, cost far too much to handle without help.

So thanks to my family's insurance fucking us over to the tune of 6 grand, and rent seekers magically losing our checks to them, we're about $7k in the hole.

If you could help us out a little to ease the financial blow, that would be great. I personally want to hang the insurance company who suddenly decided that we owe them money over something that they should have been covering.
