Hello, new follower

So I scared off a polish crypto-fascist called Zushi from a furry chat when I mentioned the LGBT-free zones and how it's a stain on its national heritage.

He came at me basically saying that I don't understand and that it's okay that it's happening because the LGBT folk is apparently just as bad for shitting on Catholicism, and started hand-wringing about how Catholicism is a part of the Polish national heritage, and how communism is evil for trying to take it away.

I pushed back by agreeing and saying that the "Communism" he mentioned was Stalinism, which was actually fascism hiding under the Communist label, and that Stalin had a lot in common with Hitler and that I oppose Stalin as an ancom because of this. That upset him, and he tried to stop the convo, but not before getting the last word in about how he thinks Catholics are the real victims here.

I then asked if he really thinks it's okay that LGBT folk are being driven out of homes and neighbourhoods by reactionaries because of our irreverence to organized religion, I also mentioned that Catholicism, for its many sins only really had to deal with ridicule since it covers up each other's pederasty. Meanwhile, the consequences of us running afoul of the community is that we die. He responded by going on again on this spiel about Catholicism and national identity and how Germany and the USSR tried to take religion away from them, and how the LGBT went too far by shitting on the religion. All this time he drew an arbitrary, yet nebulous line between criticism and mockery.

So I called him out and said that he does think it's okay to punch down on LGBT folk because we shat on religion. I then gave him the tea about what Catholicism had done to harm the world, and how it promotes and sustains abuse structure. I also told him that if Catholicism really is his national identity, that it sucks and that he should find one that is less harmful to tie his national identity to.

He got angry and started backpedaling on everything he told me, and then finished with an ableist quip about how I am incapable of reading comprehension. I simply responded that he was caping for Catholicism, effectively being a defender of the religion.

He responded by erasing chat history with me. That was all I needed to know about him, (information control) so I finished the job for him by deleting the chat from his contacts, and blocking him. He responded by picking a fight with me in a public furry chat that we shared.

I just told him not to bring private affairs to public chats, and he slinked off hours later with this quip: "A opuszczam tą grupę. Mnie po prostu powoli denerwuje ten wojujący anty-Chrześcijanizm. Bronię takich ludzi, ale powoli miarka się przebiera..."

Which translates to: "eh, leaving this group. I just get mad by this growing anti-christianity. I'm defending these people, but it's getting way too much..."

This is how you deal with them, you play it cool, but stonewall their attempts to gaslight and groom you.

Okay after a couple of incidents where Vivaldi ended up eating all of my RAM, I have migrated to Firefox.

I will miss the features, but I don't miss it eating up all of my RAM and causing system stability issues as a result.

Remember that this is a symptom of something much more deeper larger and uglier than the presidantial campaign, the basic truth that even being a decent fucking human being is impossible in the political arena.

Remember to vote, not with the ballots, but with guillotines and nooses.
