Also, if folks know of ways to more directly get involved, including PNW strikes and volunteering that could use extra hands, those would also be very useful.

Some good threads on collective action have been going around, to get folks the help they need while the oligarch mafia continues trying to hold everyone hostage. And yeah, they’re absolutely going to try this again.
What have your most useful threads been on this? I’d like to boost ‘em and pass along a donation or two if I can.

Cool to see what happens when spineless tools no longer have all the levers of power. Thank you for not caving, Pelosi.
The path out of this seems to be to not feed him and let him shrivel enough for his base to stop sustaining him. She knows that. AOC and other folks know it too. More of that please.
It's Soba, the weedy seabold!
Finally brought this fella to life. there's not enough water kobolds out there, you know?

@kirbizard Supposedly they haven’t seeded the Switch build with daily deals yet, and that’s going to start up soon? From what I recall reading, anyway.
Since they just closed the transfer window from PC, that’s probably why it’s timed for now.
Also, these two bookmark badge thingies arrived from Tod, and they are the best things ever. (They also have a Patreon, which is here: https://www.patreon.com/djinni)
journaling software question
A clue is this isn’t a problem for anything with a draft mode (email, Gdrive documents, etc), but is when trying to make long thoughts work in media expected to be synchronous. So that might be a clue that some kind of easily accessible scratch drafting space would be what I’m looking for?
journaling software question
What are folks’ preferred journaling software programs? Bonus points from folks that are used to managing mental spirals and really long thought debris that take a lot of words to unpack.
I tend to be way too verbose at people when I have complex thoughts to unpack, and I want a way to manage getting to the tl;dr version better. Scrivener and Emacs Org Mode (my usual go-tos) don’t shape themselves too well to that, but I can kind of make them work if needed.
Silly finctional ponderings
@Aradia Thought to file away for later: “You’ve ruined perfectly good gray goo! See? It’s got dysmorphia.”
re: uspol, epiphany, musing about news of the day
@zetasyanthis Yeah. I don’t understand the implications, but I’m guessing this is why so many media folks in his inner orbit are suddenly finding better deals with a D House. Which seems like a blunder unless more fixes are in?
re: uspol, epiphany, musing about news of the day
@zetasyanthis Caveat: Corsi’s filing document is absolutely bonkers, but the $15k figure corroborates earlier sourcing.

@zetasyanthis https://twitter.com/lrozen/status/1087773092447961098, which chases earlier reporting (eg, http://fortune.com/2018/08/14/trump-aides-nondisclosure-payments/)
uspol, epiphany, musing about news of the day
I think this may be one of the reasons the wheels are coming off now, as opposed to two years ago. With power on the other side of the aisle, soliciting silence just became much more expensive. And it seems they didn’t update their corruption to cover for it.
Huh.
uspol, epiphany, musing about news of the day
Y’know, it never occurred to me that these folks would just... try to rely on a system of bribes and hush money payments to keep their empire duct-taped together.
I get the control over the narrative. But the numbers seem weird: they value silence at an annuity of $15k/mo (source: some of the earlier court filings, plus Corsi court filings). And that... doesn’t seem scalable, when insights into DC corruption are generally on the order of millions+.
Dragon. Agender, otherkin, occasional artist and writer, infosec engineer, in about that order. Avatar by Xeirla. Singular they/them preferred.
