just bird things
Our local corvids are pleased by our latest tribute of mixed nuts and seeds. I’ve also refilled our hummingbird feeder before it got too low, and also spied one of our woodpeckers picking through the underbrush this weekend.
Bird traffic here is definitely lower now that we’ve gone from Spring to Summer, but the locals seem quite happy.

My sister @missbird is teaching sex ed to high school students this summer and could use your help!
She's trying to make sure to include important aspects of sexuality and gender, such as orientation and gender identity (which are currently lacking from the curriculum).

Every once in a while you see an article or something floating around that talks about people using public phone charging stations to steal data, and warning that if you're going to use them to use a special charging-only cable. Obviously, those are kind of a specialty item that you'd have to buy from online or whatever. Sometimes they're selling you a specific one. But all they are is a USB cable with the two power lines, but no data lines.
So here's how to make one!

Trans PoC asking for help, Boosts OK
Hey, so I figured out that I don't need to feel bad about using the internet for its intended purpose: the sharing of information.
So, here's my asks to Trans PoC Masto:
1: How much did it cost you for facial hair removal, and what sort of procedure worked for you? Laser, electro, chemical, or do you just shave constantly?
2: What're your wig recommendations? This is new territory for me and I need more intel.
3: Does anyone have a good resource on reversing or treating going bald? Wigs are a pain in the ass, and not the most comfortable yet for me.
4. Can you share some starter makeup tutorials?
