@frameacloud Have you tried VirtualBox or a trial copy of VMware? If you have the install discs, you can install an older version of Windows on one of those, then the software.

It’s been super cool to see folks continue to interact with and enjoy the game while I’ve been figuring out headspace things. Watching folks continue to post fanart is helping convince me to try making my own thing (eventually).

Still not sure what yet. AWSW was the third game project I’ve contributed work to, and the second with any substantial involvement (the first was a Second Life game in college). I’ve been picking at Unity, but I’m not certain where to go with it yet.

Also, if folks know of ways to more directly get involved, including PNW strikes and volunteering that could use extra hands, those would also be very useful.

Some good threads on collective action have been going around, to get folks the help they need while the oligarch mafia continues trying to hold everyone hostage. And yeah, they’re absolutely going to try this again.

What have your most useful threads been on this? I’d like to boost ‘em and pass along a donation or two if I can.

The path out of this seems to be to not feed him and let him shrivel enough for his base to stop sustaining him. She knows that. AOC and other folks know it too. More of that please.

Since they just closed the transfer window from PC, that’s probably why it’s timed for now.

A clue is this isn’t a problem for anything with a draft mode (email, Gdrive documents, etc), but is when trying to make long thoughts work in media expected to be synchronous. So that might be a clue that some kind of easily accessible scratch drafting space would be what I’m looking for?

What are folks’ preferred journaling software programs? Bonus points from folks that are used to managing mental spirals and really long thought debris that take a lot of words to unpack.

I tend to be way too verbose at people when I have complex thoughts to unpack, and I want a way to manage getting to the tl;dr version better. Scrivener and Emacs Org Mode (my usual go-tos) don’t shape themselves too well to that, but I can kind of make them work if needed.
