Work Thoughts
@literorrery so then the question becomes - given this knowledge how do I confront either/both of them without feeling like the energy I have to put into the encounter vastly exceeds the reward (good behavior) that I get from it.
I don’t have a good answer, and I’m not expecting anyone to magically find a way to solve this riddle either. I think I know one or two of the answers already, I just don’t like them.
Work Thoughts
I sent cool kid home today almost 2 hours early cause he wasn’t feeling well. That coupled with beanie’s rather excessive cat-like behavior last week made me realize something a lot of you have been probably shouting at me internally for a while. I’m too averse to confrontation. Maybe it’s cause I don’t like having to be prepared to replace someone.
What I do know is that when I don’t confront them, the behavior gets worse. So maybe I just need to be prepared to be the “bad guy.”

Day Summary (~+ Drug mention))
Izzy and I managed to talk things through to the point where we weren't setting each other off (and the pen's influence definitely helped on my end). We ended up going out for dinner, and taking some time to plan out meals for the week; get some shopping done and prep the first of said meals and his breakfasts. And I got almost all of our outstanding laundry done.
...a hecking long day, but at least it has ended well enough. x.x
Day Summary (~+ Drug mention))
Today was definitely what I would call tumultuous. Woozle and I had to have a talk about finances with each other; the shape and the form of that conversation burned us both out pretty bad and necessitated a mutual withdrawal to our respective quiet areas.
I realized I was starting to have an anxiety attack, and turned to the tool I had available (the vape pen). 2 puffs and a very surreal walk around the neighborhood for my exercise and I had centered myself...
Late Night Musings on Woo and Life
Sometimes I question my place in the world and the community. I don't have exceptional artistic talent. My ability to wield words is spotty at best.
The one thing I seem to enjoy most is to listen to a tale told; to take it into my head as though to record it everlasting.

@CoronaCoreanici in any group this large there are bound to be conflicts, issues of trust and anxiety and fear. That you’re willing to talk about them is good. And feeling like you don’t know your place in postfurry is...not uncommon (heck is usually the sign that you belong more than you realize).
If you’re worried about exclusion, talk with the ones you’re worried about excluding you. I’d wager they are willing to listen.
@Angle@witches.town I would say that with corporate social media you are feeding their algorithms with your participation. The more you use it, the more they understand how to market you to advertisers. That’s just not present in Mastodon.
