@frostwolf it was one of those nebulous nightmares where I was afraid of the Old Man, but also that my friends would howl too loudly and I’d have to explain them and myself to my parents.

apparently my post-phone-screen-brain goes from "Adam West" to the reggae version of the Batman theme tune and from there to "One Step Beyond." Alternate-Universe-Jon *did* get to grow up in grimy horrible northern England listening to stuff like this or something.

Okay, vivid dreams that were something like a mix of therian meetup with The Northman, so maybe let's *not* listen to Heilung late at night on high-anxiety nights in the future eh?

@eredien This was over on Twitter, where I'm far more likely to follow biologists. One of them posted valid complaints about a coyote-killing contest in Wisconsin, but this happened to have a photo of our victorious Trumper assholes and their canine victims.

I did not react well.

Need to remember that the big reason to be positive on social media isn’t that I’m a nice person, quite the contrary. It’s that frankly the people I want to respond to in anger are incapable of understanding anything other than violence which sadly cannot be granted them, but if I say something positive to someone, those are people who CAN listen.
