#drawing with Ticonderoga carmine red. Feels good but not great; the softness is nice and it leaves little residue on the page like graphite pencils but the lead is somehow very brittle and prone to break, and I’d forgotten that.

also figured out some small but useful puzzle pieces today;

1) narcissists win b/c they value being the awesomest best person at all times. Whereas a neurotypical person values negotiation and some self-doubt, and an abuse victim has been trained to negotiate and self-doubt.

2) it's not that Christians always think they're doing the right thing, AND they think having professed the right faith saves them. It's that having professed the right faith, they therefore must be espousing right things.

It's so rainy and overcast that I only got one really clear glimpse of the full supermoon, *but* how I could still see it shining past cloud cover that thick really drove home how bright and close the moon was!

I really need to come up with a more optimistic view of the future than “evil always gets what it wants and gets away with it scot free.”

Even though I’m committed to believing in positivity on a small scale, it might be nice to have some optimism amount of larger scale.

I know some sort of at-best-dubiously-legal-or-justified war thing is pretty much inevitable with any Republican administration - it's violent, coercive, profiteering and gets that popularity rating soaring, so it's a no-lose proposition for them - but I still don't *like* it. There's more that I was going to say but none of it's coherent.
