Work (-)
So, don't expect I'll be around much anymore, save weekend and occasional evenings.
Tired of this game.

Still employed. Seems that my potential raise is directly tied to [function x], which I do not actually in any capacity *do*. I only benefit if my coworkers get their shit together. (Which is unlikely.)
Also, the banhammer has come down on phones. I have to leave mine locked in a locker, rather than on my person. Given I don't have access to a work-sanctioned web browser or a company email address or work digital camera, that's going to make parts of my life needlessly complicated.
@LexYeen I look forward to trying this, and if it has the same effect, using it as a new alarm-clock noise. (The backup alarm that goes off 10 minutes after the nicer, gentler one...)
@catgoat How do I start a "BOFA FEES NUTS!" meme?
Asking for a friend. >.>
podcast opinions
@grainloom With the warning of course that the current season contains spoilers to eps you haven't heard, of course.
podcast opinions
@grainloom That'd work out pretty well, I think. It's sort of a shame that there are so many fragments alluded to in later eps, because otherwise I could just say "Things really start at episode X".
On reflection... you *could* start at episode 45 and just try the current season. It does explain itself, presuming you trust Sayer to be a Reliable Narrator, and there'd be a certain narrative resonance to going in tabula rasa. n.n
podcast opinions
@grainloom I feel Sayer didn't quite find its groove until season 3, and season 4 retroactively makes many fragments of season 1, 2 and 3 far more cohesive by recontextualizing them. That said, it's just not going to be everybody's cup of tea.

"Silicone sculptures", MH ties, dysphoria, explicit stuff
@KawaSeadrake Ah, I didn't quite grok the context of your particulars. I'm sorry, Kawa. u.u
"Silicone sculptures", body-musing, lewd refs
@KawaSeadrake Well! Having done alginate and silicone cast of various bits of myself and others, It can be *surprisingly* therapeutic to have mass-producable copies of bits to sculpt, reshape, or smash to, well, bits. XD But whatever works, of course.
I find I have the *urge* to work on full-body sculpts, but no precise *reason* to do so a lot. Maybe that what art's about.
Spent the morning unconscious, noon-afternoon being screened for eldercare eligability with TheMate for (and with) the Mother of TheMate (aka MoTM). Now rewarding ourselves with tea (well, lunch). Seem to have lost part of a molar somewhere... Ah well. That tooth's mostly metal now anyhow, another dentin won't hurt it much.
So, what am I up to? Well. At the 'hurry-up-and-wait' point of several projects.
@KawaSeadrake Hell yes. >.< At least make the iPad it's paired to loudly complain when it can't 'see' it any more, so we're incentivized to keep them close together.
@noelle Ooh. My very own "Jaws of Life..."
