@green @zebratron2084 I fear I must politely object, and gently suggest you have somehow forgotten "Pocelot Position", which as you will recall was ported as part of the "Noland Bushnell's Contractual Obligation Package".

@JulieSqveakaroo It's ok, I've got plenty of patch kits?

@kara@occult.camp A few people have! The Prussa team have retrofit a four-filament feedhead to their i3 model, but the native software only supports flat colours - they *can* do halftones, which can be very striking. And there are some people doing real subtractive mixing:

@Momentrabbit ... I... *have* purple and blue filament already. o.o Well then!
(Filament storage starts to become an issue when space is at a premium, especially when you're trying to avoid exposure to humid air: bagged and boxed tends to be the best way right now, though I have great hopes for an eventual workshop storage shelf. Seeing as I'm an 'out of sight == out of mind' sort, avoiding supply duplication is always going to be an issue...)

And we have pink. Nice even flow, no oversplurt from the junction at the nozzle/throat interface in the heaterblock. Making up a mounting block to move the filament driver off the carriage, then a few more pieces to go to a Bowden-style head - tired of having to dismantle this one for filament changes.
It's Pride Month, I should order some purple and blue to go with the pink and do some three-hue bi-colour prints. n.n

@Soreth Right, a foot and two toes on go and another two toes on standby. We'll all get you through this. Keep breathing.

@squeakycheetah *blushes* You're very kind and possibly a bit mad... both of which are very attractive qualities in a date. n.n

Dear ghod. The pros and cons of dating *my* fursona?
You... wow. Really?
For starters... in *my* fursona's reality? Where physics is sort of a set of loosely agreed upon conventions and biology is just a joke that went on a bit long and the elastic modulus of flesh is... *extraordinary*... >.>
... you're curious about the ups and downs of dating the biohacked polymorphic slightly mad semi-AI rabbitmorph working on boundaries and abandonment issues.
You *jewel*. C'mere. n.n
@squirrel_ebooks ... you have my attention.

New throat, new (slightly smaller) block, new nozzle: old heating element and thermistor, because they work and if it ain't broke, etc. Rewound the hot lines with Kapton. I'll need to run a few calibration checks to see how the smaller heater block behaves.
*sigh* They're so pretty before they start regular use.
@Sangria She blows up, too?! ❤💦
@Leucrotta Collaborating with clone, ah... 'armies'. 😳

The Folly's print head is a wreck. Decapitated, now: I sheared the PTFE-lined throat removing it from the old heater-block, and the plated nozzle's not very plated any more thanks to my overeagerness in removal, thus not very wear-resistant any more.
Sometimes the route forward requires a certain amount of destructive remodelling. Or maybe that's me redirecting my frustrations on something inert. Works either way.
I have enough spare parts to rebuild, so.
Rebuilding.

@oneoddfrog The pain echoes. Words fail.
I'm sorry for our loss.
@001zlnv Yeah.
Ah, dammit. I am not running on enough sleep or spoons for this.
So right now I've given it some thought and decided that Putin had him killed and staged it to look like... y'know.
Because a) he does that to journalists who diss him, and b) otherwise I am just gonna have to dig tony up eventually and slap him and yell "THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING" and then I might possibly lose my composure a little in public and that'll just never do y'know
It has been a week.
@Sangria Oh, they're adorable. O.O
