@remotenemesis Think about this: that website's (CERN's) favicon (which is a concept that didn't even exist at the time!) is a drawing of the single most advanced (and, probably, most expensive) piece of scientific equipment ever made, which has become an iconic symbol of CERN, and which had probably not even been proposed at the time that website was written.

@korosarum Even those of us who are disabled, in one way or another, still struggle with particularly entrenched ones.
@garrbage yes! Now it's just paperwork, and we'll get our first paycheck near the end of this month.
@garrbage Well, that's the thing: what's happening now is something that is going to relieve the stress! We've been stressed about money much more than we had thought we were, but now we've learned that the grant application (that was supposed to be filed by August) finally went through and our professor has money to actually pay us now.
@garrbage That's good! We've gotten some things that just happened, for our part, and need to be sorted out, but once they are sorted out things will be a lot better. I don't think we'd realized how much we were stressing over this until just now.
