@JulieSqveakaroo @mawr The same could be said for all workers.

I should do that more often...
@mawr It was not by my hand that I am once again experiencing a dark morning. I was awoken by humans who wished me to maximize shareholder value.
Looking for linux distro recommendations
Anyone know of good Linux distros that are beginner-friendly, but aim to expose the user to and teach them about what makes Linux different from Windows, rather than paper over it in an attempt to be "familiar"? I could have sworn there was one with a built-in command line tutorial or something that I heard about a while back, but I forget what it was called.
This wouldn't be for me. It would be for someone who could easily contact me with questions if they need help.
@anthracite Quick, demand an in-person interview and then eat them!
@Aradia I'm living this currently. XD
@Cerulean @anthracite Anything inside the orbit of Mars we pay a lot more attention to, classifying them as a Near Earth Object, since that's a potential impact. There's more _mass_ out in the Belt, but there are tons of objects everywhere - Earth has asteroids in its Lagrange 4 and 5 points, so does Mars, so there's a lot of miscellaneous stuff leading and following us.
But also, when the idea of the Belt was getting proposed, we could only see the big ones, and they're further out. :D
@anthracite The same Benjamin Hoff who wrote the Tao of Pooh and the Te of Piglet? Interesting translation!
And really neat artistic interpretation. ^^
re: wordleblather
@Kyresti Using "CARES," I take it? Myself, I use "TAILS" as my starting word.
re: cats, mh (~), anxiety, cat health (+?, everyone's fine!)
@zebratron2084 @anthracite The Mouse Pouch! Yeah, that's totally normal, and it can be really funny to watch them use its pendulous sway when running to corner better. :D
@anthracite Nah, that's just basic feline nature for you.
@anthracite They want to knead dough for you.
(Actually it's mostly just that they really really like being with you right now - you may be able to get them to make pacts and bargains they would not normally allow themselves to be bound by)
@zebratron2084 Might be a Scandahoovian descent thing? Would make sense why it's present in Seattle.
@zebratron2084 What's specifically midwestern about them, if I can ask? They make perfect sense to me and I've never lived anywhere but the coasts.

re: guess I'm doing word stuff too?
@jacel LICKY duplicates letters from TAILS! Are you thinking perhaps of FUCKY?
re: guess I'm doing word stuff too?
@jacel The best word to start with is "TAILS". *nods firmly*
@hystericempress The next 35% is people who got nailed by Totally Spies and the Disney Afternoon.
Rare coastal dragoness, often found by sunny sea cliffs. Nonbinary but fairly femme-leaning. If you're under 18 don't follow.
