This is the cutest, tiniest smol gecko you have ever seen, doing little bleps on the side of my water glass. They are tiny and perfect.

Saw a pretty great orange streak in the sky earlier just before the moon was hitting totality - not a plane, not a satellite, must be a shooting star!

Funny how that's the number three item on the "moving thing in the sky" list these days.

The worst part about a lunar eclipse is the way the moon just hangs there in the heavens screaming "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON" the whole time.

Like yeah, we get it. You're the moon. We're all watching you.

At least it shuts up if we yell loudly enough back, "YOU'RE THE DAMN MOON SHUT UP"

Well, "first day of school" dream, it's been a while. At least a decade in fact, if not longer.

Well, cleared the game in Hardcore mode tonight. Took a little while, and a little planning and being careful, but it's done! Didn't die once this time.

So I started a game of Subnautica about the beginning of the year, because tropical waters sounded pretty appealing as a lead-up to actually going to Hawaii.

Because I am me, I also chose to make it Hardcore - one death means game over. I've been very careful, and my memory of the game before means I've had a few advantages.

I just visited the bottom of the world to get the Quest to Make the MacGuffin, and once I've delivered that I can finish making my rocket and take off. I've not died once yet.
