Tozen was smashing flower pots at Lowes when his student, a store clerk, approaches in agitation.
"Tozen! Why are you destroying these pots?"
The master shook his head.
"I have destroyed nothing. The void which constitutes the pot still remains."
The student-clerk was incredulous
"I do not see this void."
Tozen smiled "Look around you."
The clerk did as he was told.
When he looked back to Tozen he saw nothing, and was enlightened.

That fucker got to waltz off to the supporting arms of the family he hid from me while I got to struggle with PTSD, panic attacks, and suicidal desires. Three years later it's still so painful I can't stand to see his name or a picture of him without all of that coming up again.

...Now considering the merits of micro-smut posts. Probably should have labeled the earlier thing that, come to think of it.
I'm not like, mad at my folks, just disappointed and a little upset when they do it. Granted they have several decades of habit and preconceptions, and since I came it as nonbinary there have been all of two visits. But still. Didn't feel great.
