1. If I were actually a D&D, character what race and and class?
Stroll with me back to the mid-to-late 90s, when TSR released a 2E product called Council of Wyrms, which let you play dragons. So yeah, that's me. Bronze dragon playing a bronze dragon. Maybe with Wizard levels, since that was a thing it let you do.
In more modern terms, Dragonborn something. Probably Sorcerer?

Dreamed last night that someone brought home a hateful, superheated idol that sat in the front bathroom and glowed malevolently, making everything smell like matches. It kept trying to burn the house down, so I kept splashing water from the sink on it.

I was very disappointingly _not_ able to return to this much nicer world after going back to sleep. Frumple.

I woke up in the middle of a dream about being in a p-shifting summer camp and it was bitterly disappointing. I was getting good at turning into a bird and flying, damn it. (Bird because same number of limbs; hexapods were harder to learn and were advanced course stuff even for us dragonkin.)
