@LexYeen When I've gone back and looked, I've really /really/ loved the aesthetic of Mirrodin. :-)

@Mycroft I'm the one who's grabbed potions and scrolls and plans to see what each of them does. :-P

Thank you! :-)

I'd love to have a sticker like that! Anyone sell them online?

@Dex Ahh okay yeah. :-)

I'm more wary of the news causing a lot of folks I know to then abandon the platform, and like...dammit, I don't want to switch platforms /again/ or have yet another one to keep in touch on IMs.

@Dex I couldn't really tell from that article (which I didn't have a lot of time to read), how much this decision is going to affect individual users. I don't think it's as specific as "use all connected devices to mine currency"?

@thefishcrow@cybre.space @Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town

It's certainly true that part of postfurry definitely arose out of postmodernism. :-)

@makyo I'm imagining such hair on either the white fox or the snep, and both are equally as pretty as they are on human-you. :-)

@DialMforMara Those are the landing rafts, but still definitely an homage. :-)

@thefishcrow@cybre.space Uncle Tim was certainly an influence. :-)

@KawaSeadrake I'm actually kinda interested, now. :-)

And furcons /are/ diversity-deficient in many areas.

Magic the Gathering kvetch

@DialMforMara That's a good point, yeah. You don't have to start with a preconceived story for a deck at least. I know of storytelling games that /are/ just "play from a hand and narrate what feels right.

Mtg on top of that has some definite constraints, but there might be some interesting middle ground.

@CoronaCoreanici

We've had a few bouts already with different cultural/social splits forcing everyone to "choose sides". Largely, I think we're tired of that approach. So I hope nobody will abandon you in favor of another, or vice versa.

Speaking for myself, I won't.

Magic the Gathering kvetch

@DialMforMara This actually makes me wonder about the potential for playing more or less the same game but optimized for storytelling. Narrating the actions of the game as in-world rather than just "tap, tap, swing for 5". Would be really long and complicated in, say, a Commander game, but might be amusing to have some role-play elements in Unstable, or even one of the regular lore-heavy sets.
