@ThatDamnCat yikes, stay safe!
@Ferrovore @ComputerHusband yep, that is exactly what I thought at first, and was very confused how that'd managed to become a NYT bestseller...
food (life is like a box of chocolates)
@ThatDamnCat not this kind. it's chewy and mealy and full of weird chunks of blargh-tasting junk. DO NOT WANT.
food (life is like a box of chocolates)
yesterday I encountered a nougat, and after one bite decided "nope fuck this" and delicately nibbled the chocolate covering off before discarding the horrible nougat core. today was "oh this looks like a cherry cordial, NO WHAT FRESH HELL IS THIS, CHERRY CORDIAL NOUGAT??? WHY WOULD ANYONE EVEN DO THIS??"
food (life is like a box of chocolates)
got a premade box of chocolates last time I went to See's (some guy ahead of me was taking FORFRICKINGEVER to pick for TWO POUND BOXES and there was only one clerk so I just grabbed a premade box), and now I'm exploring the fantastical world of "what the actual fuck is this chocolate-covered monstrosity??"
@ThatDamnCat hee, Spouse and I startled a barred owl on Wed. morning as we were walking to the bus stop together, and the owl in turn startled us. they're pretty big birds. I'd prefer smaller ones! XD
@ThatDamnCat OH MY GOSH SO CUTE. do you know what kind of owl it is?
