@zebratron2084 yeeuugh. you can see they're really trying, with the shapes and the little garnishes, but... maybe it's the bad lighting they're using? gleh.

moods

@zebratron2084 I'm intensely grateful for the people who stuck with me through the depths of my depression. I'll stick with you as long as I'm capable. :) <3

moods

@zebratron2084 therapy never did a damn thing for me either--except this most recent batch, which was basically three sessions to be told "well, it sounds like there's stuff you want to go do, so--go do it! otherwise you seem okay. come back if anything else comes up!" which was refreshingly honest, but not exactly helpful. :P

what *has* helped is DRUG. and acclimating to DRUG.

*gentle nosebump*

@guerrillarain@witches.town bonus goth points if that's a gin or vodka in your hand... XD

for some reason, in this weather I keep expecting to see coyotes every time I look out the window. "trash wolves in the fog" keeps running through my head...

@Leucrotta hah, cool decorations. XD

Nightmare Before Xmas Tshirt! good choice! hi! and at first I thought you had green hair too, but now I see that's a hat/kerchief thing. ;)

@zebratron2084 @emanate all that tree needs is to not be run over by a careless/drunk driver, heh.

dream, big bug

just remembered (finally) that part of what I dreamed was trying to catch a *really big* bright green praying mantis that was skittering around loose. I wasn't afraid of it, although I knew it would hurt if it pinched/bit me, but also that despite its size (nearly as long as my forearm) it was still relatively fragile, so I had to be careful in catching it. I tossed a towel/cloth over it, and it made angry chittering/rattling noises as I put it in a shoebox.

@emanate that's a gorgeous, vibrant red! what a good little tree. ;)

@kara@occult.camp I listened to a *lot* of Glitch Mob for a while, and now I'm really enjoying the Glitch game (heh) soundtracks on YouTube. music with words distracts me badly, I can't listen to it and pay attention to anything else. *nodnod*

@kara@occult.camp *nodnodnod* ooh, come to think of it that's probably why I listened to looped music too; it changed as the buproprion worked, and the bad brain thoughts became *much* quieter and less frequent. also, since my quiet time is usually sitting here at my computer at home, I like being able to listen for the crows and other birds--but when all I had was traffic noise I did a lot more noise-cancelling music, yes.

It's called Rhythm Fantasy. Somebody slips it into a kid's drink, next day he wakes up in a ball pit covered in bug spray.

@kara@occult.camp I don't do it often--I prefer as little background noise as possible, or to have it be very even and ignorable, like box fans or cafe conversations. if I do listen to music, it's usually to drown out some other noise, like downstairs neighbors being loud, or yardwork.

I *used* to do the "listen to music on endless loop" thing--I can remember several cassettes that I broke from running over and over, but at some point I stopped doing that, I dunno why.

@cassolotl@cybre.space aaaaah. I have learned a thing today--daylight savings doesn't happen on the same day in the UK and the US! ours isn't until Nov. 5th. :)

Started filling in the gemstones on this ^.^ Drawn on A3 paper. #mastoart #mandala
