the funny thing is that I can remember having had a dream about almost exactly that, suddenly realizing I was covered in tiny baby spiders and being deeply cuted and concerned and trying hard to brush them off while not hurting them. good to know that's exactly how my conscious mind reacts too!

to which my reaction was "d'awwww, lookit the tiny baby spiders!" and then to be as careful as possible about brushing them off and not squishing them. I've probably brought at least a half-dozen of them inside with me, and I may have several still crawling around on me somewhere, but they were SO CUTE AND TINY. XD

also the crow was extremely pleased with the peanubs. ^___^

a crow came to the porch railing and gave me The Look, so I went outside and refilled the suet feeder and put out peanuts. while I was out there I felt spiderwebs, which didn't seem unusual until I realized that a spider egg clutch had hatched on either the suet or the hummingbird feeder, and there were dozens of tiny spiders all over the porch, about the size of a pinhead, many of them dangling from the suet feeder. I then realized I was mildly covered in tiny baby spiders.

so I found this amazing recipe, which is basically chicken (cut into 1" cubes), vegetables, chicken stock, and spices, and the result is uniformly fantastic *except* that the chicken keeps coming out dry and chewy. is there something obvious I'm doing wrong?

one of the crow fledglings has found its way to the neighborhood of my porch, so now I'm being treated to a round of angry "FEED ME OMG" honking. XD

Spouse: the googly eyes you stuck on the Roomba make it look so innocent as it's trying to eat and run away with my computer cables...

downstairs neighbors are playing music really loud, but all we can hear upstairs is the base, which sounds like an irregular and badly-tuned foghorn. o____o *BOOOO-DOOOOO-DUUUUM*

I can hear the mowers going and MY ENTIRE BODY IS COVERED IN ITCHING. eerrrgggghhhhh *twitchtwitch* evidently there's something I'm extra-allergic to in the air right now. I should probably cut my nails down entirely before I start drawing blood on my own skin...
