oh SWEET zone scaling! OUTLAND AND WRATH: SCALED 60-80. CATACLYSM AND PANDARIA: SCALED 80-90. sweeeeeeeet! no more slogging through Pandaria, I can skip straight on to Cataclysm content! oh wow this makes me want to level more alts! and the addition of new subraces too! okay that's some good stuff right there. :D

Alliance gets Dark Iron dwarves (yawn), "Lightforged Draenei" (wtf? oh even *more* holier-than-thou Draenei, yaaaaawn) and... void elves. whaaaaaaaaaaaat. also what're we gonna call 'em, "velves?" actually I kind of like that... XD

although, new subraces? YESPLS. we (yes I'm a Hordie, suck it) get Zandalari trolls, nice... Highmountain tauren, moose tauren, very nice!... and WE GET THE NIGHTBORNE ELVES??? sa-WEEEEET. I was *really* expecting them to go Alliance! now the belfs will have competition for "prettiest Horde race," heh. (omg the Belf/Nightborne RP is going to be SO DEEPLY AND BEAUTIFULLY STUPID)

watched the cinematic for the next expansion--looks like there was finally a gnome in a cinematic! for a couple of frames in the gears of a siege tower before Sylvanas blows him the fuck up.

also look who grew some fuzz on his ballsack! 9____9 so much for "let's all be friends," Anduin has graduated to "KILL 'EM ALL" I see. hoooray.

evidently this expansion is all PVP, all the time. *siiiiiigh*

went for a walk in the snow; took a *lot* of pictures, so I'll need to curate out the best ones.

saw what I'd bet $20 was a Cooper's hawk, though I didn't get a clear enough look for a positive ID, and the bufflehead duck is back on our pond! he's been wintering here every year we've been here. he's very shy, though, so he's hard to photograph, but I think I got a couple of clear shots of him.

A lot of people are mourning today, and for many of those people, this is a space they come to for positive interactions. This space may be part of someone's self care plan.

I encourage you to post as you need and want to today, and if you have the spoons, interact with others even more than you normally do.

Tragedy in a community reinforces the importance of community. Let's all care for one another together. ♥️

I love social media and microblogging to the point where I made this network. But at some point you gotta stop. It shouldn't be the single primary communications channel of a head of state. It's a bad fit. Don't. That's the problem.

this is why I always, *always* say my depression is "in remission." it's still *there*. I can still feel the shape of it, lurking in my brain. my anti-depression moveset has evolved, I've gotten very good at fighting it off. I've retrained my brain, rewired my thought patterns, developed a strong suite of robust responses when I feel the poison touch my veins.

the rabbit has to be lucky every time. the fox only has to be lucky once.
