I think Lefty might have insinuated himself into the Gang of Three. when I put out peanuts, the Gang of Three were there waiting, and calling, and while they were picking up the peanuts Lefty showed up to get a couple, and was treated sociably by the others. either that, or nobody's feeling territorial right now...

You set up a Ko-Fi page, where all you buttons and links go. You'll need a short bio and some hashtags it looks like, and a blurb?

You'll also need to be careful with your paypal information. Currently testing to see which fields display where, connected to what, so you don't accidentally reveal your wallet name, address, etc, to anywhere you don't want to.

For those considering LiberaPay, a few things that might affect a decision.

1. It's based in France, so withdrawing money costs $3.51 per transaction plus any additional fees your own bank may charge.
2. It's donations only, no contracts or expectation of goods.
3. It supports both the Euro and the US Dollar
4. It's up to you to figure out taxes.
5. The fees will still be assessed to the customer of 2.9% + .35 which at least suggests THAT part of Patreon is honest. >.<

playing Skyrim reminded me of the fic I wrote, evidently back in '13, inspired by various incidents while adventuring with Brynjolf. I'm tempted to try picking it up again--there was a lot more story that I wanted to tell, but never got around to.

volunteering was very dull today--only four birds in the ward, a squirrel in the nursery with an injured leg, and the usual long-term critters and passel of waiting-to-be-released assorted birds (mostly owls and gulls). I ended up carting loads of gravel out of the small mammal enclosure and then said "argh my back" and skipped out early.

on the other hand I saw a red-breasted sapsucker there! off in the trees, not in the ward, heh. it's much easier to spot birds with all the leaves down...
