@Earthshine There are 7 main Harry Potter films, and 8 main Harry Potter movies. There is also an actual spin-off sequel that started as a stage play (the script of which was adapted, novelized, and published as the 8th Harry Potter book. There is also a spinoff movie trilogy prequel based off a spinoff in-universe textbook that is focusing on a previous wizarding world war. The Fantastic Beast trilogy has 1 movie out currently with the second about to release before the end of the year IIRC
