@green Yay! You have had mawr death injected into your veins!

I keep looking out my window and thinkin' about all the things I want to do to the yard :D :D

(Hint: Paver stone walkways, a leveled patio and fountain in front, and all the things in back)

@ginnungagap I envy your country's ability to effectively regulate its healthcare industry. D:

Trailer Hitch Cover - Opinions?

@adeptomega If your trailer connector is stuck outside the car, the first option is great because it'll help keep those contacts clean. Otherwise, you'll be exposing that cable to the elements unnecessarily.

The mini-safe option is probably not a great plan to put anything important in-- I'll bet someone persistent with a hammer could get inside it, and would expect to find spare keys there.

Get the pawprint. :3

PSA about prescription drug manufacturers

@ginnungagap Weird. In the US, name brand meds usually cost a lot more than generic alternatives, and insurance won't cover as much of the name brand drugs (sometimes at all if there are generic alternatives).

For example, on my insurance plan, generic 30 day refills of my ADHD meds cost me $25 USD, but to get the non-generic would cost more than twice that: $60 USD.

Without insurance: Generic is $181, Name brand is $255.

Experiences with ADHD at varying drug levels:

Unmedicated: Unable to focus on nearly anything; quick to frustration when trying to accomplish tasks requiring more than 5 minutes

Properly medicated: I do the HELL out of anything I think about, sometimes before I realize I'm doing it, which can be a problem-- must be conscious of what I'm giving attention to

Undermedicated: Able to focus for short bursts that are then interrupted, unable to re-focus. Crying out of frustration.

Insurance BS

@IrisKalmia @shel Caremark is the *worst,* but they'll still cover non-generic drugs albeit begrudgingly.

PSA about prescription drug manufacturers

@IrisKalmia That's awesome. :D

@shel Talk to your doctor! They might be able to prescribe you a non-generic that might cost a bit more, but will at least be more reliable. Alternately, try searching for other pharmacies that might carry different brands.

I wish you luck!! ♥️

Related experience with changing drug manufacturers

I have weapons grade ADHD and lately I've been struggling to focus while on my meds. They also changed from the usual orange to a blue color recently...

Turns out the new manufacturer has produced a TON of complaints from others who're having similar experiences to mine.

I've been driving myself crazy because of how hard it's been to focus lately. It's good to know it's not just me at least!! Now I can get it fixed. :D

PSA about prescription drug manufacturers

If a drug you're prescribed changes in appearance, it's usually because the pharmacy switched to a different manufacturer.

If you're feeling off and your meds changed appearance, it could be the meds! Check online reviews of that manufacturer and drug to see if anyone else is reporting similar symptoms. Arm yourself with knowledge!

You can look up the pill by shape, appearance & markings at this website to find the manufacturer.
