I made a userstyle that makes emojos larger on hover userstyles.org/styles/150165/m

makes it easy to see those good good custom emojos

I wanted to do a tooltip but that would require more than just CSS (can't use ::before or ::after on image tags)

@kellerfuchs *eees and noseboops back; is without blush at present.* ^.=.^

I'm a blush vampire

I feed off of other people's blushing by proximity alone. :D

@noiob That's a solid criticism to which there are no simple answers that don't involve erasing a lot of people. 😕

Globalism under capitalism causes some really unpleasant problems.

@noiob Because labor is never free, and erasing its cost devalues its worth in the eye of the public.

PSA about call center workers

@Mycroft Augh. That's super shitty -- there was no feedback option?

dads are terrible and family is complicated

@smallesttiger *offers a gentle hug* Family can be so complicated. :<

Hey so, there's been a bit of a kerfuffle with Patreon lately after a terms of service change that threatens all sex workers

There's now an open letter to Patreon to please not do that openlettertopatreon.com/

The idea of folks losing their livelihood overnight for reasons I cannot see as justified is terrifying, and there's no Patreon alternative either.

US Politics

@Leucrotta Oh, believe me: I totally see this as too little, too late-- but at least it's a public statement against this shit from a long standing member of the responsible party.

That gives me hope for a change of tide. That statement will almost assuredly ring true with the majority of the Republican base. This marks the beginning of an important turning point in our political discourse.

PSA about call center workers

Call center work is grueling and soul-destroying work, as anyone who's worked at one will attest. Why is this? Well, call centers are usually a consumer's last resort for help. They've usually already gotten themselves upset before they think to call. Much yelling and grumpiness ensues.

We can help!! If you're having a really good experience with a thing, call the call center and give them positive feedback. It'll totally improve their day, I guarantee it. ♥️

@kel@witches.town Yeah! I'm a ✨ghostplush✨!
