@catzilla it's Wear OS, they rebuilt it with tizen components but running actual apps and stuff will always eat battery, sadly

@catzilla also music on the go but Apple Music doesn't have a Wear OS app anyways. Hope they add that because it'd be really nice, this thing has 32 GB of storage so I could carry quite a bit of music on iy
@catzilla yeah it runs basically any Wear OS app. I would like to have LTE so I can leave my phone at home but still be able to use Maps and call people in an emergency (when else would I call people)

software developers, I'm begging you, test your UI in languages other than English so I don't end up with buttons that cut off the verb
@catzilla I have the LTE model but sadly getting an extra eSIM costs a fortune from my mobile provider. I kinda lucked into getting a good deal on eBay, a lot of folks are selling their Pixel 7 preorder bonuses

anyone wanna be fitbit friends? I don't know what that entails but my leaderboard looks lonely
@catzilla it's very much not a fitbit, it's a Wear OS watch running Fitbit apps. Battery life is supposed to be 24h but that seems to vary greatly depending on settings and usage, it's a small watch with a SoC from 2008 so I'm not expecting a miracle
@schratze it's not possible, at least long-term. gotta block them client-side
@catzilla seems nice so far, I really like the shape and finish. The software seems mostly good and smooth but there's a few bugs still that make it annoying. I'm hoping they'll iron those out soon
@sfner eh, wear os ui has always played with the round display shape
