@onfy Toby Fox basically lucked into being able to make the most self-indulgent, cringe meme stuff he wants and it's glorious and I love it

@onfy also I can't think of any off the top of my head but games have done the "the demo is a different thing than the final game, but the same engine and characters" so you'd get some extra content if you play both

@onfy I mean it was sold as a "teaser" or sth. I don't think it's a bad thing either, it can stand on its own as a bite-sized mission that has a lot of replay value, I'm just saying Toby Fox could've easily charged money for the first two chapters of Deltarune but he didn't and I think that's really nice of him

hard to go wrong with a game with a dope anime intro, I'm having fun youtu.be/G2vCuLGJtEc

@onfy it's basically a demo for MGSV: The Phantom Pain. Demos don't need to be a part of the final game, especially if you sell them separately ^^

also I think they fixed the missing pre-baked lighting on the older courses which is good because it's one of those things you can't unsee once you see it

I meant normal maps, and it looks like they actually used some new ones? the new tracks don't exclusively look like plastic or gravel… still not up to par with the base game, mind you, but also definitely a step up, I really like the look of Maple Treeway

new MK8 tracks dropped, let's see if they still use the same two UV maps for everything

reminder that if you have Nintendo Online you can play River City Girls for free for a few days

got third-party pixel watch lugs in, they certainly don't fit as smoothly and tightly as the original but they do their job and they allow me to have this neat rainbow striped watch band, so

@onfy yeah, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

I mean it's GN but still, the quality of the discussion in the top comments is great

this is a really fun video if you enjoy Steve getting mad at proprietary design in a workstation PC, except the design is great if you have like a hundred of them deployed youtu.be/8bMgxJvZYWE

@onfy you'd think that there'd be some kind of standardized network print setup, like, just send some EPS to the printer

@monorail there's a window on my computer, I'd see him if he was in there

@onfy I don't recall ever printing on Linux except at work but I'm.not counting that, since we have actual ops people making stuff work
