@andrewt you can get custom printed ones and ones with space for a small square of paper
@trwnh fyi on the youtube website you can just replace /shorts/ with /v/ and get normal video controls, I got a userscript that does that because it keeps me from scrolling through them too
I'm begging Microsoft to port Rare Replay to PC
@monorail I mean it plays like ass because N64 framerates and they hadn't figured out good shooter controls yet
both the N64 game in an emulator with modded-in m+kb controls and the xbox 360 port are worth checking out

@00dani UNO is more fun if you have house rules that make it more chaotic and punish players who don't pay attention, because that adds some skill to it
why anyone would buy a UNO video game eludes me
@chr joking aside I think macos application bundles are a very clever solution to the "programs have to be a lot of different pieces of data" problem
@chr it's only a file if it's stored in a file inode, otherwise it's a sparkly folder
@fillertrack zsh with the grml-zshrc (it's already the default terminal on Mac OS but a good config elevates it), homebrew, Rectangle for window snapping/tiling

I'm trying to figure out what the minimum iOS version I need to support is, so I'd like to have a bit of a better understanding of what people are running. So, if you are NOT on iOS 16, what's your reason?

@clarfonthey a window in Windows will always be triple buffered afaik and stuff like FreeSync/GSync has a hard time with windowed content

@clarfonthey alt-tabbing out of true fullscreen still takes noticeably longer and hides the fullscreen application, even if I'm alt-tabbing onto my second monitor. If I want to play a game and use $chat_app at the same time I have to run it borderless or it's a pain
tangentially related, I refuse to run Discord in fullscreen because it's a chat app, it shouldn't need that, and god does it love wasting space already
If you have the "just x boosts to go" enabled on your discord server I assume you like putting ads in front of my face and hate my screen real estate
