@SirTapTap@mastodon.social I'm not sure if I'd trust "double carbon filters" to do anything for smell but also outside compost doesn't smell that much. Have you thought about like, outside composters? they have lids and usually also a way to get at the soil that it turns into eventually. My parents have one and it just… sits outside in a corner and you can just ignore it for the most part (food scraps do attract rats though)
