@kianga makes it harder to read but the flashing is probably for Deaf and hard of hearing people… maybe they should flash the area around the popup, but everyone's a critic I guess. I like that the link is (kinda) clickable!
@kianga I'm not convinced the window blinking red is helpful but it does instil a nice sense of dread

We had another state-wide alarm drill today (sirens and everything) and the cell broadcast system actually worked this time, yay!
I think they used the "real alert / end of the world is imminent" category instead of a test alert... but good to know it works, I guess!

@cinnamon they are in Germany unless they have a really good reason (and are prepared to defend it in court). the time employers are required to give you also can't be shorter than the time you're required to give

@praxis pretty sure these are to prevent people from reading through the paper. When I get PINs and stuff like that sent the envelope always looks like that
