@ff0000 that's smart, basically a floater but without the complicated mechanical connection. I don't think this one does that, the tank sits on top of the machine and is transparent

good news is that the cup had enough space left for what the machine considers a cup so I just ended up with a bit of bonus coffee

I'm not an UX expert but the coffee maker stopping 1/3rd through my cup because it's out of water (it actually still has enough water) is kinda shit

@tebicat@tech.lgbt most of our (German) glass bottles get reused, the bits of metal stay on the cap. Beer is usually a literal bottle cap
