it's good, actually, back/forward were already a thing I used a lot through the buttons on my mouse and the search field is just visible UI for the command palette / file search shortcuts

@margau I've built something, but it's not necessarily the way to go
I basically use https://github.com/sibbl/hass-lovelace-kindle-screensaver to render PNGs of a specific dashboard every 5 minutes and the pi zero connected to this screen downloads and displays them
@typhlosion @cinnamon I think you're overthinking it
@cinnamon @typhlosion I've got friends who swear by arch and it's got all the shiniest newest software and pacman is nice and fast but also it's broken my grub multiple times in the time I used it so I'm not super convinced
@cinnamon @typhlosion I'd go with something a bit less slow to update than debian if you wanna like, game and stuff, it's a pain to always have at least one-year-old software versions
@typhlosion you can have separate partitions for your system and your home folder and just reinstall if you don't like it
but also I've been using systemd distros (mostly bog standard debian) since it was a thing and I never felt like I needed anything else?
