@researchfairy the gnome file manager is the first thing I replace on a fresh install (I prefer Thunar) but I mean, I can just nudge the trackpad/scroll wheel a little and I'll know where I'm at

@blinry unfortunately I think to get good data you need one of the expensive cloud-heavy ones, the enthusiast devices usually have subpar health tracking. I wore a Pebble for years, it basically took an educated guess at heart rate, while my Pixel Watch 1 is spot on and has a very high temporal resolution
to be fair I'm running a Wayland session which I'm pretty sure still isn't the default, so
would be nice if it applied the scale to the system ui on the fly, hm
logging out and back in works tho
