@pup_hime yeah that seems better in every way without even having tried it, wtf
oh yes and also I finally get Baby Steps (the upcoming Bennet Foddy et al game Devolver has been promoting heavily) and while I don't really wanna play it and it seems like Streamer bait they did 100% succeed in making a game where you actually do learn to walk again and I found a weird appreciation for a thing I do all day without even thinking about it? I do kinda wanna see someone else play it tho
I also tried Unbeatable which seems cool and has great music but the demo just drops you into the story and there's timeskips with zero warning so I was mostly just confused? and there's either too much or too little tutorializing. Also the actual main rhythmgaming is so flashy it makes the chart hard to read. Still a very stylish game that seems to have quite a bit of story? there's not a lot in the demo, mostly just trying too hard to be witty but it does hint at it? https://store.steampowered.com/app/2240620/UNBEATABLE/
this is kind of a cool idea except it just simulates git instead of, idk, running it in a VM? and just waits til you type the command it wants which leads to fun stuff like the attached screenshot https://store.steampowered.com/app/1490570/git_gud/
@blinry it was the first version using Wayland, took quite a bit of time trying to get Firefox and VSCode to run natively (Firefox worked eventually, VSCode did not)
@blinry lol yeah I noticed when I attached my bamboo pen tablet (that can also be a trackpad) to a standard debian gnome desktop, it looks so weird
@couchsofa uh ich hab meine einfach bei AliExpress gekauft
22 mm ist eine Standardgröße und die Standard-Befestigung samt Werkzeug kriegt man auch sehr günstig
@Saki is this how I learn that they moved on from the blue and orange livery
@cinnamon you can get third-party Ethernet adapters too as long as they're a specific chipset fyi
I don't think it's gonna be a better connection (it's 100 mbit/s lol) but it might be less hassle
@elilla the mix of imperial and SI units scares me, but other than that it looks good
@elilla I think the term I would use at the Baumarkt ist "so ein Ding womit man eine Waschmaschine unterm Waschbecken anschließen kann"
@elilla I'm seeing Geräteventil https://www.bauhaus.info/auslaufhaehne-geraeteventile/grohe-geraeteventil-eckfix/p/26270784
I'm also seeing ones that replace the valve so I'm probably wrong about that one, I suppose it looks cleaner https://www.bauhaus.info/auslaufhaehne-geraeteventile/schell-geraeteventil/p/23437623
@elilla I don't see why you'd wanna replace the valve (not sure if there's even a thread there, it might just come out of the wall like that) but those splitters for a [dish]washer are probably exactly what you want, though I'm not sure about adapting it to a garden hose… though washers usually come with a hose you just clamp onto it so that would work in a pinch
@cinnamon tattoos! not my hands tho
@nallwolf I lost one and I have no idea where it could be, it just poofed out of existence somehow
@eramdam I like how the lighting in the after pic is way better
looking good!
@la missed opportunity to blame your loss on it :P
