any of y'all have money to spare to help keep the word "house" in "a trans household"? the end of the month is drawing ever nearer
https://www.gofundme.com/f/kalis-housing-fund
i've boosted this a few times from @twi but i know a lot of people (myself included) have boosts off due to assorted politics doom, so here's a repost
@Siph same tho
@nd [citation needed]
ich finde da nix zu und würde es gern verstehen
@chirpbirb yeah they don't do stickers in any boxes anymore
I don't hate the open-world gameplay I just feel like there's a hundred things to collect and potentially keep track of and BotW had much less. Sometimes I just wanna get somewhere and not get drawn into a twenty minute cave expedition along the way, y'know
@tedmielczarek @mcc mega does something to load large files into local/temporary storage or sth, idk how they do it
@BalooUriza that's not the point I'm makign
@socks I love the first one but the steam deck has somewhat nicer hardware and I want the extra stick, d-pad and grip buttons
I'm not saying first party controllers are necessarily bad. Potentiometers can be fine, usually a bit of contact cleaner will make them work as new, in my experience with well-used controllers the springs wear out much faster than the pots.
Also GabeN pls release the Steam Controller 2 tyvm
re: opinions about Joy-Con drift, maybe a hot take
@Siph yeah you're correct. I think the push for hall effect should be centered around the fact that it has no deadzones. I got some HE sticks for my N64 controllers and I'm pretty sure they beat the pants off of brand new ones now
@Siph I have their controller adapter dongle and it's so handy to have in my bag of dongles
it's kinda funny how third-party-controllers went from the cheap second controller your parents got so your little brother could play, too to the really premium controller that works with all your devices, has all the features you'll ever need and will outlast the first-party controller while still being cheaper
@codl I don't think that's a design flaw. Not all services (they call them "actions" now in the UI) are bound to exactly one device. You can even call lamp.turn_on on a list of lamp entities
